Wonderlust Adventures
United States
Приєднався 15 сер 2019
For much of my life, I've had an immense fascination for the natural world and its inhabitants. This fascination has always driven me to wonder to share those feelings of wonder with other people. "Wonderlust" was the name I gave to that feeling.
With this channel, I hope to bring to you improved understanding and appreciation for nature in its many forms across the world, and the human history that has existed in those places. In this channel, I film my travels in a highly cinematic style, and with corresponding narration aim to both educate on the history of these places and inspire wonder for the astonishing aspects of the natural world.
While here, and in your own journeys, wander in wonder.

The end of Wonderlust Adventures (and the start of something new)
My new channel, Wander in Wonder can be found HERE:

Over the past several years, I've been immensely grateful to have wandered the incredible wilds of the American west. However, since the pandemic, competition in this space has exploded, and Wonderlust Adventures as a channel has been on a slow, steady decline.
So, with that in mind, I decided to embark on a new journey, and create a NEW channel! Wander in Wonder will be uploading videos every Monday and Friday, with a fresh look to my filmmaking endeavors. Hope to see you there. :)

The Sonoran Desert of south Arizona is an incredible place, where the harsh dry conditions have created a jungle in the desert: weird, beautiful spiky plants all around. Walking through the desert, it's easy to imagine yourself in an alien world, where things have learned to exist in unimaginable conditions. In this video, we hike on some of the Arizona BLM land, and experience its wonders away...

EPIC Oregon Nature! Hiking Crater Lake (Two trails!).

Crater Lake, in southern Oregon, is my favorite place in the state... when Mount Mazama exploded and lost over a vertical mile of rock only 7,000 years ago, the crater that was formed filled with nearly 2,000 feet of water, and created the breathtaking Crater Lake National Park as we know it today. Come join me on a hike on two of the park's trails with a guest friend!

INCREDIBLE Oregon Coastal Islands! Adventure on the South Pacific Coast.
Y'know, there is a road out of Grants Pass called the Redwood Highway. In Oregon. !
Looks like Lava Falls. Me and my gf were just there last week. Such a beautiful state. Walking on fields of lava was so surreal.
Love TRNP, it’s a magical place
Coast redwoods cannot stand below freezing temperatures, so with global warming they should extend their range. We should plant them in Olympic National Park in Washington, or even on Vancouver Island, where giant sequoias are already growing.
they must be some what salt tolerant since they thrive in a coastal habitat
Can you hike nude there?? Ive been wanting to find where to hike nude in NM
GIANT MUSHROOMS
New Mexico is mind blowing in so many ways!
Well, what did archaeologists find that is definitely Lewis and Clark?
I live in Lolo, and that place is literally my backyard. I live right on the other side of the fence line and I also have never actually gone and walked around out there even though I’m fascinated with Lewis and Clark.
So if they have giant trees then of course they have 7911420
Thank you 🙏🏾👍🏾🤎
The point is the wisdom that is within....
Wonderful video ! We used to camp up there in the 80s. It was privately owned then. We used to knock on the ranch headquarters door and pay the $ 1 dollar admission fee. I am so happy that the Nature Conservancy has it nowadays! They have done a wonderful job restoring the ruins.
OMG! This is such an amazing place! I will be there in two weeks. You got a fantastic voice!. I am hoping you will return and shoot a longer video. Your work is magnificent!.
There are actually Redwoods and Sequoias as far north as Portland, but they're not old growth. There's been a couple of court cases to protect them from development.
Our State is the Real & True Volcano State! We have Every type Here, Super too. & also Marrs, Only found here. Lava tubes & More. Our State New Mexico USA. No other Place is Like Ours, Or Even Close. Like Our Sunsets & Storm's as well as more!
liked the video part. HATED the music you put in.. Get rid of that and let the silence of the trail and the noise of your boots walking on the soil be the sounds we hear.
Vasque makes some great boots. I have a few myself.
Thanks for showing this, they look different from the old growth here in Mendocino and Sonoma County
Geological history?
I kooked on all the land ownership maps and I don't see any public land around Ingomor. When did you find to collect?
Really enjoyed the mood and style of this video. We’ll done!
we do have a fantastic zipline is the largest in the Northwest.
I love the Sonoran Desert!
About how long is the really thin section of the trail?
Great video my friend! I know exactly what you meant when you were talking about walking through an Oregon clear cut. Amazing shots and such cuddly cats! ❤
There are actually redwoods throughout most of southwestern Oregon. Loads of them inland here in and around Grants Pass, and have seen them further north than Roseburg.
LOL I just lived MOAB UTAH.. It was beautiful. The Canyonland Geology is toooooo gorgeous.
This Video is absolutely incredible, such rich incredible history of how mankind lived, and how they build these beautiful huge sceneries for our eyes to appreciate love and respect so many years later. I just went to the Salmon ruins in New Mexico and it was absolutely amazing.
I found became aware of your videos after seeing your visit to the Little Bighorn National Monument. I very much enjoyed your video and narrative. I do wish you would leave the music low, in the background, and at the same volume throughout the video. There is no benefit to making it louder when you are not speaking. The up and down becomes distracting. Thank you for your work, and I will visit your new channel.
Sweet! just drove b y there
So what's cookin in the Devil's Kitchen? 😁
Hi! I'm a senior in high school (graduating soon) and recently found your channel because I am majoring in wildlife biology on a pre-vet track. There are many paths students can take for the pre-vet route but the alternate career options like the ones you show on your channels are what pushed me to majoring in wildlife bio in case I decide not to continue for a DVM. Thank you so much for showing this part of your life. It is truly appreciated and honestly life-changing. Looking forward to more in the years to come!
Our history is our history - good, bad, ugly or otherwise. Thank you for sharing this part of it.
Good plan to start fresh.
Excellent video production, music, narration, ace job!
I think those lost lonesome deserts are soo beautiful I’ve always wanted to explore them and see them myself
4:02. Nope. I suggest everyone block channels that beg you to subscribe. WE GET HOW UA-cam WORKS ALREADY. HI. YEAH HI STOP BEGGING
Awesome video, i live in the western interior, you inspired me to look around more now for these. Looked amazing though
I'm in!
Such a unique and beautiful landscape… great shots!!
✔️ 'Promo sm'.
i'm a new subscriber - and i found your channel one of your videos was on my recommended feed - so you are definitely being shown to new folks - then i found your other two channels, which i am guessing are dead channels now? with so many followers it would be a shame to start yet again. but i shall pop over to your new channel and wait to see what you share with us :)
Glad to have you either way! :) I wouldn't call the other two channels dead so much as in a medically-induced coma. I'd like to post to them, but I need to find the creative inspiration to do so first, and I'm not sure when that'll happen. But I do have some ideas!
@@WonderlustAdventures take your time, there aint no rush, you have an audience when you are ready to create - got to say i cant create as much as i'd like, so i know a little of how that feels. you are doing an awesome job with all your creations :) (medically induced coma, i like that, make me laugh, thanks)
On my way Tor! Congratulations on a fresh start!
Much appreciated! Hope to go in strong. :)
I subscribed! Love and look forward to your videos!
Stoked to share some amazing stuff. :)
I’ll see you over there 👋
